General farm worker - harvesting

Growmore Farm Ltd. ( Kelowna, BC) is currently looking for a skilled General farm worker - harvesting. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Term or contractFull time. Shift timings include: On call, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply fertilizers.
• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must mix fertilizers.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must sort fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
