General construction labourer

MALAYIA EXTERIORS is situated in Calgary, AB and is hiring a General construction labourer to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must assist in demolishing buildings.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
