Now hiring: Fruit farm labourer at Col-Mac Orchards Limited in Kingsville, ON. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Day, Weekend, , 07:00 to 18:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must trim trees to achieve desired pruning objectives, such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, or vista pruning.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be a quick learner.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
