Forging machine operator

TMS Système in Saint-Henri-de-Lévis, QC is inviting applications for the position of Forging machine operator. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.
• The candidate must cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
• The candidate must select and transport materials to work areas manually or using cranes or hoists.
• The candidate must read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• The candidate must ensure adherence to safety regulations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work for the metal product fabrication industry that shapes metal into parts or end products.
