Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store is situated in Terrace, BC and is hiring a Food services manager to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
• The candidate must negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.
• The candidate must enforce policies and procedures.
• The candidate must develop and implement business plans.
• The candidate must develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations.
• The candidate must arrange for and oversee maintenance activities.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities, set in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the accommodations.
