Food counter attendant

Bamboo Inn Restaurant in Comox, BC is inviting applications for the position of Food counter attendant. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
