Buffet Royale ( Sherwood Park, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Food and beverage server. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment - Part time employment. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings.
• The candidate must enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
• The candidate must balance cash and record sales.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
