Rehabilitation and renovation specialist

Olympic Projects Ltd. ( Port Coquitlam, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Rehabilitation and renovation specialist. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must plan and prepare work schedules.
• The candidate must select and employ trade subcontractors and coordinate their activities.
• The candidate must inspect subcontractors’ work for quality and conformity with plans and specifications.
• The candidate must plan and manage budgets.
• The candidate must recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must collaborate with customers, architects, and engineers regarding plans and specifications.
• The candidate must develop and implement health and safety plans.
• The candidate must perform human resource planning and development activities.
• The candidate must plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
