Smyth's Apple Orchard Ltd in Iroquois, ON is seeking a self-motivated Farm manager. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
• The candidate must organize planting, cultivation and crop harvesting activities.
• The candidate must train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality.
• The candidate must manage the overall operation of the farm.
• The candidate will be responsible for establishing marketing programs.
• The candidate must maintain financial and production records.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.
• The candidate must recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.
• The candidate must plan and maintain production schedules.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
