Nord Quantique is situated in Sherbrooke, QC and is hiring a Electromagnetic compatibility (emc) engineer to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must conduct feasibility, design, operational and performance research on electrical generation and distribution networks.
• The candidate must design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment.
• The candidate must investigate electrical or electronic failures.
• The candidate will be responsible for conducting micro- or nanodevice simulations, characterization, process modeling, and integration to support the development of new electronic devices and products.
• The candidate must commission systems and components.
• The candidate must set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures.
• The candidate must develop manufacturing and processing procedures.
• The candidate must develop specific plans to prioritize.
