Job Description
- The candidate must install electrical controls and panel boxes.
- The candidate must replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes.
- The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
- The candidate must install underground wiring and cables.
- The candidate must keep maintenance reports and documentation.
- The candidate must design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations.
- The candidate must splice, join, and connect wires.
- The candidate must design and construct low voltage (30 to 750V) multiphase service for single or multimeter installations.
- The candidate must test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults for integrity of circuits.
- The candidate must determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations.
- The candidate must troubleshoot and isolate faults.
- The candidate must connect power to audio and visual equipment.
- The candidate must install surface mount and/or overhead cables.
- The candidate must instruct apprentices.
- The candidate must install power generation, stand-by power generation, and power conditioning systems.
- The candidate must supervise other workers.
- The candidate must ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures including swimming pools and hot tubs.
- The candidate must renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.
- The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
