Madiz Construction in Edmonton, AB is inviting applications for the position of Drywall installer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean and prepare surfaces.
• The candidate must cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• The candidate must fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• The candidate must measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
• The candidate must position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
• The candidate must install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings using hand and power tools.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.

• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
