Cordax Evaluation Technologies Inc. is situated in Calgary, AB and is hiring a Director of quality assurance engineering to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assign engineering projects to engineers or technical workers.
• The candidate must consult with clients to determine project needs.
• The candidate must coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must plan and control budget and expenditures.
• The candidate must provide detailed information and guidance to clients on project analysis and design.
• The candidate must review engineering projects to approve or recommend changes.
• The candidate must hire, train, direct, and motivate staff.
• The candidate must authorize development of product or service specifications.
• The candidate must oversee the analysis of data and information.
• The candidate must oversee the preparation of reports.
• The candidate must advise senior management.
• The candidate must develop risk management plans.
• The candidate must lead and instruct groups.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
