St. Catharines Pattern Limited is situated in St. Catharines, ON and is hiring a Die finisher to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must instruct apprentices.
• The candidate must verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
• The candidate must realize machine castings to create metal molds, core boxes, and precisely shaped models.
• The candidate must lay out, shape, and assemble patterns of metal, wood, plastic, and other materials from blueprints, models, or templates.
• The candidate must position, secure, measure, and work metal stock or castings for machining.
• The candidate must set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
