Demolition foreman/woman

Daniel Garbage Removal & Renovation Ltd. in Burnaby, BC is seeking a self-motivated Demolition foreman/woman. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Term or contractFull time position. The schedule involves Overtime required, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
• The candidate must requisition materials and supplies.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in demolition, performing the safe dismantling, removal, and disposal of structures and building materials.
• The candidate must work in equipment operation to safely operate, maintain, and monitor machinery for efficient performance.
