Coleman Group of Companies in Mount Pearl, NL is seeking a self-motivated Deli counter clerk - food store. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be adaptable.

• The candidate should work in a retail business, purchasing goods from manufacturers or wholesalers, and selling these goods to consumers in small quantities.
