Baker - retail

Coleman Group of Companies ( Mount Pearl, NL) is currently looking for a skilled Baker - retail. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare doughs, batters, icings, and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
• The candidate must prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
• The candidate must prepare special orders.
• The candidate must frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• The candidate must operate machinery.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a supermarket or bakery department to assist customers, manage inventory, and maintain product quality.
