Custodian

Sandeeren in Whitehorse, YT is inviting applications for the position of Custodian. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
• The candidate must operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and refuse.
• The candidate must empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• The candidate must wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
• The candidate must clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• The candidate must remove litter and garbage.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas.
• The candidate must wash and clean interior and exterior windows and other glass surfaces.
• The candidate must perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
