Ophthalmic assistant

Scarborough Eye Clinic is situated in Scarborough, ON and is hiring a Ophthalmic assistant to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, record results, and monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment.
• The candidate must assist health care professionals as needed.
• The candidate must assist physicians in the assessment of patients.
• The candidate must operate ophthalmic testing and measuring instruments.
• The candidate must clean and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must maintain supplies.
• The candidate must maintain an inventory of equipment.
• The candidate must perform general clerical duties.
• The candidate must take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history.
