Custodian

Motion Fitness is situated in Red Deer, AB and is hiring a Custodian to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Term or contractFull time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
• The candidate must operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and refuse.
• The candidate must empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• The candidate must wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
• The candidate must contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
• The candidate must move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• The candidate must clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
