Now hiring: Greenhouse worker at Scott Street Greenhouses Ltd. in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must plant bulbs and seeds.
• The candidate must pot and re-pot plants.
• The candidate must transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings.
• The candidate must report signs of insect or disease damage.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.

• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
