Job Description

  • The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
  • The candidate must prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
  • The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
  • The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
  • The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.

  • The candidate must be fluent in English.
  • The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
