Convenience store cashier

Trails North Car and Truck Stop is situated in Whitehorse, YT and is hiring a Convenience store cashier to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must calculate foreign currency exchange.
• The candidate must verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
