Shannex RLC Limited ( Moncton, NB) is currently looking for a skilled Continuing care assistant. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Part time. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must supply and empty bed pans.
• The candidate must serve meal trays and feed patients.
• The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
• The candidate must deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments.
• The candidate must make beds and maintain patients’ rooms.
• The candidate must supervise patients’ exercise routines.
• The candidate must maintain inventory of supplies.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and groom patients.
• The candidate must transport patients between care facilities.
• The candidate must transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers.
• The candidate must answer call signals to determine patients’ needs.
• The candidate must administer first aid in emergency situations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
