Construction painter

ProPainting Solutions Inc is situated in Calgary, AB and is hiring a Construction painter to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare, clean, and sand surfaces prior to painting.
• The candidate must repair cracks and holes in walls, floors, or surfaces.
• The candidate must mix paint to achieve the desired color and texture.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• The candidate must advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
• The candidate must erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
• The candidate must apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must be able to distinguish between colours.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
