Native Counselling Services of Alberta in Calgary, AB is seeking a self-motivated Peer support worker. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Day, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform administrative and office activities.
• The candidate must appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services.
• The candidate must liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
