Construction labourer

Centennial Contracting Ltd. is situated in North Bay, ON and is hiring a Construction labourer to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Flexible hours, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must assist the medical examiner in charge.
• The candidate must assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• The candidate must direct traffic at or near construction sites.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
