Construction labourer and helper

Northern Equipment Services Inc in Timmins, ON is inviting applications for the position of Construction labourer and helper. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• The candidate must tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• The candidate must direct traffic at or near construction sites.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work on machinery.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
