Construction labourer and helper

Les bâtiments Bähler ( Sherbrooke, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Construction labourer and helper. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. Required shifts: Early morning, Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must level earth to meet fine grade specifications.
• The candidate must assist in demolishing buildings.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• The candidate must tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
