Carpenter helper

Les bâtiments Bähler ( Sherbrooke, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Carpenter helper. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
• The candidate must assist in demolishing buildings.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
• The candidate must install vapor barriers and thermal and sound insulation.
• The candidate must install door, window, and other hardware.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
