Construction labourer and helper

Sharp Building Solutions in Devon, AB is seeking a self-motivated Construction labourer and helper. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Day, , 08:00 to 16:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
• The candidate must level earth to meet fine grade specifications.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
