Concrete finisher

J.Wilson Paving Inc. is situated in Carp, ON and is hiring a Concrete finisher to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Evening, Flexible hours, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
• The candidate must impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• The candidate must repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.

• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be accurate.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate must work in residential settings, performing tasks on one-, two-, and three-family dwellings.
• The candidate must work on roads and bridges to construct, maintain, or repair infrastructure and ensure safety standards.
• The candidate should work on sidewalks and curbs; sidewalks require a minimum width of 5.0 feet if set back from the curb or 6.0 feet at the curb face.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
