CNC (computer numerically controlled) woodworking machine tool operator

Epic Industries ( Kamloops, BC) is currently looking for a skilled CNC (computer numerically controlled) woodworking machine tool operator. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must set up, program, and operate computerized or manual woodworking machines.
• The candidate must operate preset special-purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products.
• The candidate must read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a furniture manufacturing company to assemble, finish, and inspect furniture products.
