Farm equipment operator

Lazy F-D Ranches and Hay Sales Ltd. in Kamloops, BC is seeking a self-motivated Farm equipment operator. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Term or contractFull time employment. Required shifts: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must clear fields of wood and stones.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
