East Coast Carrier ltd is situated in Dartmouth, NS and is hiring a Class 1 truck driver to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate must have patience.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
