Child care live-in caregiver

Maple Ridge Child Care Employer is situated in Maple Ridge, BC and is hiring a Child care live-in caregiver to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, , 08:30 to 14:30 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• The candidate must instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• The candidate must maintain a safe and healthy environment within the home.
• The candidate must organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• The candidate must prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• The candidate must supervise and care for children.
• The candidate must attend to the emotional well-being of children.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
