Oddfellows Barbershop in Halifax, NS is inviting applications for the position of Barber. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must book appointments.
• The candidate must cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences.
• The candidate must shave and trim beards and mustaches.
• The candidate must cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
• The candidate must suggest hairstyles compatible with clients’ physical features and preferences.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
