Cakes Etc. is situated in Victoria, BC and is hiring a Baker to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare doughs, batters, icings, and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must bake mixed dough and batters.
• The candidate must frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
• The candidate must ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
• The candidate must inspect kitchen and food service areas.
• The candidate must operate machinery.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
