Concrete finisher

Lawn and Lawn Landscape and Renovation ( Bolton, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Concrete finisher. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials.
• The candidate must direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
• The candidate must fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• The candidate must operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• The candidate must level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
• The candidate must impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• The candidate must apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• The candidate must waterproof, damp-proof, and restore surfaces.
• The candidate must repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
