Everest Auto ( Edmonton, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Automotive service technician. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• The candidate must confirm findings with a supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace a unit.
• The candidate must inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must inspect motors in operation.
• The candidate must review work orders.
• The candidate must test automotive systems and components.
• The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a workshop to fabricate, assemble, or repair components and products, ensuring quality and safety.
