Automotive service technician

Surgenor Barrhaven Chevrolet Buick GMC in Nepean, ON is seeking a self-motivated Automotive service technician. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate must test and adjust units to specifications.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
