Automotive refinishing technician

Selkirk Auto Body ( Selkirk, MB) is currently looking for a skilled Automotive refinishing technician. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: , 08:00 to 16:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.
• The candidate must file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
• The candidate must mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
• The candidate must apply primers and repaint surfaces.
• The candidate must mix paint and blend and match colours.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
