SCHMIDT'S AUTO RECYCLING INC ( Kitchener, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Automotive dismantler. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect products to determine the requirements for repair.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, or specially designed tools.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• The candidate must inspect spills of hazardous chemicals or products.
• The candidate must keep records of maintenance on parts such as fluids, electrical systems, and tracks.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
