Horizon Canada Inc is situated in Ottawa, ON and is hiring a Vice-president, information systems - trade, broadcasting and other services to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
• The candidate must authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
• The candidate must coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
• The candidate must establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
• The candidate must represent the organization, or delegate representatives, in negotiations or other official functions.
• The candidate must select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a retail/wholesale establishment/distribution center handling products from manufacturers or wholesalers, organizing them, and shipping them to their final destinations as quickly as possible.
