Audiology technician

ODYO ( Montréal, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Audiology technician. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, record results, and monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment.
• The candidate must examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend type of hearing instrument, take earmould impressions, and perform follow-up examinations and readjustments.
• The candidate must clean and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
• The candidate must maintain supplies.
• The candidate must perform general clerical duties.
• The candidate must process files and paperwork.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.

• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.

• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
