Assistant brewer - food and beverage processing

Miski Brewing in Barrie, ON is inviting applications for the position of Assistant brewer - food and beverage processing. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products.
• The candidate must perform corrective machine adjustments.
• The candidate must operate machinery to process and package alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must record production information.
• The candidate must observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions.
• The candidate must clean machines and immediate work areas.
• The candidate must inform supervisors of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities.
• The candidate must make adjustments to process variables.
• The candidate must maintain a shift log of production and other data.
• The candidate must set up and adjust processing and packaging machines.
• The candidate must check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards.
• The candidate must operate machines that blend, flavour, condition, dry, flatten, strip, or cut raw tobacco leaves.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a microbrewery to produce, monitor, and package beer and related products, ensuring quality and safety standards.
