Carson Roofing Ltd ( Port McNeill, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Asphalt shingle roofer. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
• The candidate must erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
