Job Description
- The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems.
- The candidate must locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
- The candidate must cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
- The candidate must join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
- The candidate must test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- The candidate must determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
- The candidate must measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size.

- The candidate must be accurate.
