Horizon Ag & Turf Ltd. is situated in High Prairie, AB and is hiring a Agricultural equipment technician to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• The candidate must adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• The candidate must keep maintenance reports and documentation.
• The candidate must test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
• The candidate must attach components and adjust new farm equipment.
• The candidate must clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.
• The candidate must service attachments and working tools.
• The candidate must verify and repair emission control systems.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
