Accounting bookkeeper

Community Futures North Okanagan ( Vernon, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Accounting bookkeeper. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Day, , 08:00 to 16:30 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• The candidate must maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• The candidate must prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
• The candidate must prepare trial balances of books.
• The candidate must reconcile accounts.
• The candidate must ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
